Using a Hypnosis CD
What is a hypnosis CD and how do you use it? A hypnosis CD is a CD that has been recorded with a hypnotic recording, usually spoken word and music. These CD’s can run the range from 30 minutes to an hour and a half, depending upon the program in question and the hypnotist in question. The way that this works, is that you purchase a CD with the hypnotic recording that you want to use. You will then put it into a CD player and then listen to the hypnotic recording for the specified time. You will need to use a hypnotic recording once a day for 30 days in order to begin to see the benefits of the recording. How are these recordings made? These hypnotic CD recordings are usually made in a recording studio. They are usually tracked in different segments such as music, voice and other things that the recording may have. After the recording is finished, it is mastered then sent out for purchase. Let’s talk a little more about how you use this type of recording and what to expect from the hypnotic CD in question.
First you will put the CD recording into a CD player and sit in a place that you will not be disturbed. Then you will begin to follow the hypnotist’s directions for relaxation. You will hear both music and the spoken work. Hypnotist’s voices are usually able to invoke a hypnotic state by themselves, as they are trained to do this very thing. They will then lead you through a set of relaxation and imagery while the induction is going on. Very soon you will feel relaxed. The hypnotist’s voice will guide you through the CD until the end. You will not realize most times that you are in an induced state of hypnosis.
You will feel as if you are “zoned out”. This will be a comfortable feeling and should not be fought. Don’t get frustrated if you cannot remember everything that has been said on the CD. Your subconscious mind will have all that information and will be processing it. Usually these CD’s can be listened to at any time. Common sense rules still apply though. Never listen to a recording of this type while driving or using machinery as it causes you to lose focus. Some CD’s are meant to be used at night before you go to bed.
